Having created the original branding and bottle design for Brisbane Distillery Company at launch, the studio was asked to develop a new project for the next stage of the business.
The goal was to move toward a more environmentally responsible approach by replacing imported glass with locally made bottles. BDC also wanted to introduce a return‑and‑refill system, allowing empty gin, rum or vodka bottles to be brought back to the distillery and reused.
The new bottle aesthetic is clean, simple and classy, now made from the highest‑quality glass available in Australia. From this base, the labels elevate the proposition through premium design — our intricate lockup carrying the brand narrative, distinctive typography, and clear communication of each spirit’s flavour and small‑batch character.
